Walking the Cannes Film Festival redcarpet was not only a big deal..but one of the most nerve-wracking (and pinch me) moments of my life!! I’ve been to redcarpets many times before..mostly in LA, but Cannes was something completely different. This time of year in Cannes everyone is dressed to perfection and all the glitz and glamour is amplified to another level, so I really had to be on my A-game for this one. It’s one of the most glamorous events of the entire year and it’s only become more crazy with all the young famous models and celebrities that have joined the festivities. It’s kind of like NYFW all over again..my social media is filled with all the celebrities and models attending, parties, dating gossip etc. So yes it’s become crazier and really felt like I was in the midst of an actual movie set!!
Now for the important part..the dress. The week before departure I was trying to decide between two beautiful Michelle Mason gowns. I ended up bringing both to Cannes with me because I didn’t decide until the day of the carpet lol!! I really wanted a dress that was elegant, comfortable and sexy. And since Cannes is such a warm, tropical location by the beach I thought it would be best to wear a silky satin gown that was flowy and open. The white gown I showed you guys in my previous post was also gorgeous, but I loooooved this saffron color way too much to pass it up!
It’s been a crazy trip..all the anticipation, preparation, and excitement really caught up to me, but I’m so happy and honored I got to experience this amazing opportunity with L’Oréal. Their team brought together such an inspiring group of girls and made this an experience never to forget!! ♥
10 days down and 2 more to go until Cannes Film Festival officially ends. There have been soooo many amazing redcarpet looks and it’s not even over yet! So I wanted to share some of my favorites from the week :) Keep scrolling!!
Kendall Jenner wearing Giambattista Valli
A vision..Kendall Jenner always knows how to make an entrance. I love how dramatic this dress is..the puffed one-shoulder, big bow, and long train really makes this a show-stopping look!
Bella Hadid wearing Alexandre Vauthier
It was so hard to choose just one look from Bella Hadid because I was beyond obsessed with all of her dresses!! But Alexandre Vauthier really nailed this dress for her..it fits her like a DREAM and I’m in love with the daring side slit and bustier.
Adriana Lima wearing Naeem Khan
Can you believe this woman has 2 kids?! Adriana Lima showcased her incredible body in this beautiful whit e strapless gown along with a statement diamond necklace and red lip that couldn’t have been a better combination.
Sara Sampaio wearing Zuhair Murad
Sara Sampaio stunned the carpet in this dramatic red gown by one of my favorite designers, Zuhair Murad. I love the intricate detailing of the beading all over the dress and how it sparkles..making it stand out even more against the red. Her loose braid and diamond earrings are gorgeous and compliment the dress perfectly!!
Would love to know what some of your favorite looks were from the festival!!
