Happy Tuesday my loves!!
I’m so happy to be back home in LA after a month of non-stop travels! This weekend has been both crazy and exciting…between hoping off a plane from Miami to getting ready for the Globes with my L’Oréal fam. Before the holidays, I filmed a segment for E! on how to achieve the top 3 beauty trends you’re bound to see on the red carpet. The tutorial aired on E! right before the Golden Globes red carpet special! Being back with my L’Oréal fam for another award show has been another dream come true and I loved every moment of it!!
Hope you guys were watching and if you missed it, you can watch the tutorial below or here on the E! website :)
The day before the Globes, L’Oréal picked us up in this fabulous limo to prep for the big day!! I spent the day browsing the most beautiful jewels and trying out different hair and make-up looks for the carpet!
The L’Oréal beauty station..full of amazing products like the Infallible lip paints (I wore the color Spicy Blush), the Bright Reveal Moisturizer, Infallible eyeliner paints and lastly the Age Perfect cell renewal cream to get my skin ready for the big day!! After such a long and crazy weekend prepping for the Globes, I was VERY sleep deprived on the actual day..so these products really saved me!
Moments before stepping onto the red carpet..I made sure my hair was locked in for the night with L’Oréal classic Elnett Satin hairspray!! I wanted to go with a slick straight hairstyle to keep the emphasis on my dress.
And finally..the dress of my DREAMS!! My gold gown was by Yousef Aljasmi, the same designer I wore for the AMA’s red carpet! I didn’t plan on wearing the same designer, but as soon as I saw this dress..I knew it was perfect for the Globes!
If you guys followed along on my snap + Insta stories, you know the carpet was full of so many beautiful looks. So, here’s a mini round-up of my top favorite looks from the night!
Hailee Steinfeld wearing Vera Wang
All eyes were on Hailee’s lavender Vera Wang gown on the carpet. From seeing her at the AMAs to the Globes, Hailee proved she can pull off any look and dress for the occasion. She definitely went above and beyond for the carpet..choosing an elegant and princess-like gown to correspond with her nomination for Best Actress in a motion picture.
Blake Lively wearing Atelier Versace
Every award season, Blake Lively never ceases seems to amaze me. Looking at this photo it’s hard to believe she’s a mother of 2! Blake and her post-baby body stunned us all on the red carpet with a custom black and gold velvet gown by Atelier Versace featuring Swarovski crystal chain details. To finish off the look, she accessorized with emerald and diamond cuffs by Lorraine Schwartz..can’t get better than that right?!
Emily Ratajkowski in Reem Acra
Emily seriously had jaws dropping as she appeared on the red carpet wearing this breathtaking gown by Reem Acra. The gown featured a plunging neckline and front slit, showcasing her killer curves and hugging her in all the right places. I love how sleek and sexy this gown is..I’m usually not a big fan of yellow, but the color of this gown looks absolutely amazing on her skin tone and pops against the red carpet!
What were your favorite looks from the Golden Globes this year?! Let me know in the comments below :)
