Happy Monday my loves!! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Today I’m running around town getting together my final looks for fashion week, but first wanted to stop in and share some footage from the Rebecca Minkoff fashion show this past Saturday :) There aren’t many people who can shut down one of LA’s biggest tourist destinations on a busy weekend …but Rebecca Minkoff did just that and she did it right. Her collection was very California style driven and clearly crafted by women, for women. I love how relaxed and feminine all the pieces were..really easy to wear day to day. Not only did Minkoff design a beautiful collection, but she used her platform to remind us to keep using our voices and speaking our minds during this controversial political time. For my outfit, I chose to stay close to Minkoff’s relaxed and feminine California aesthetic by wearing this simple, yet flirty blouse tucked into a pair of distressed jeans. To finish off the look and add some edge into the outfit, I accessorized with the Midnight Top Handle bag.. love the boxy structure and signature RM studs!!
My babes @lyndsayzmakeup and @_ep_ came over to do my glam before the show!! Lyndsay went for a subtle, but pretty bronze smoky eye and finished off the look with a nude lip and gloss. Eduardo gave me soft loose waves that looked quite natural, complimenting my relaxed vibe for the show.
Obsessed with this flowy floral maxi on CocoRocha!California dreams!
There were words and messages embedded into the purses that said “the future is female,” “love me,” and “I’m a woman, hear me roar!” Loved this strong underlying female empowerment theme throughout the show!
My beauty @songofstyle opened and closed the show!!Stay tuned for so much more from fashion week this week guys! Tonight I’m heading to one of my all time favs, Raquel Allegra! More on IG and Stories @jessimalay!
